Basketball Recap: St. Andrew's Episcopal Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

If Pisgah wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played St. Andrew's Episcopal, they should've done a better job of containing Warwick Alley. The St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints blew past the Pisgah Dragons 59-35 on Friday thanks in part to Alley, who went 11 for 22 on his way to 28 points in addition to seven steals and six boards. Those 28 points gave him a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was William Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played.

Despite the loss, Pisgah had strong showings from Benjamin Bricker, who posted ten points and three steals, and Ethan Prater, who put up four points and five rebounds.

St. Andrew's Episcopal has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Pisgah, they are on a 20-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.
