Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Jefferson on the road against Sweet Grass County on Saturday as the team secured a 73-42 victory. With that victory, Jefferson brought their scoring average up to 59.5 points per game.
Dalton Noble was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 24 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 blocks. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Jefferson's points. Another player making a difference was Colt Tietje, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Fairfield's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Three Forks' defeat dropped theirs to 0-1.
Three Forks might still be hurting after the 70-46 defeat they got from Jefferson when the teams last played back in January. Can Three Forks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
