There's no place like home for Anselmo-Merna, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victor by a 62-36 margin over the Elba Bluejays on Tuesday. The Coyotes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Makenna Miller was her usual excellent self, going 10-for-14 to rack up 28 points in addition to seven steals and six rebounds. Those 28 points gave her a new career-high. Rhianen Myers was another key player, putting up five points along with seven assists and six steals.

Anselmo-Merna was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They racked up seven more assists than Elba's also-impressive total of ten.

Despite the loss, Elba saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Addison Wysocki posted 19 points and six boards. Wysocki also set a new season-high mark in three-point shooting accuracy with 67%.

Anselmo-Merna's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.2 points. As for Elba, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.

Anselmo-Merna didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-29 victory against Central Valley on the 20th. Elba does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
