Hughson is  a perfect 3-0 against Sonora since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Huskies are taking a road trip to  take on the Wildcats  at 6:00  p.m. Hughson's offense  hasn't  had much luck over their past three  games, but Wednesday's   contest will give them a chance to turn things around.
Hughson's defense heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Monday. They walked away with  a   13-0  victory over Ripon.
 Hughson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Ashlynn Merritt,  Leah Hobby,  and  Keylee Lundquist picked up one apiece.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 50  points the game before, Sonora was a bit more limited  in their  game  on Monday. They came up short against  Orestimba, falling  33-12. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
 Sonora's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Hughson, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
 Hughson barely slipped by Sonora in their previous matchup  two weeks ago, winning  7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
