Stanwood's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for Stanwood as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Stanwood's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Marysville-Pilchuck, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.
