The Onaga Buffaloes will take on the Centralia Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Onaga is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Blue Valley get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Buffaloes as they're now sitting on three straight.

Addison DeChant made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Annie Force was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one double. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season. Ember Conger was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.
Onaga always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Blue Valley only posted an OBP of .333.
11 must be Centralia's lucky number: they beat Wabaunsee with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Panthers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 12, 2024.
Onaga's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Centralia, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
Everything went Onaga's way against Centralia when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Onaga made off with a 15-9 victory. Will the Buffaloes repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
