Southeastern posted their closest win since September 3rd on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Western Indians 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won seven in a row.

Southeastern had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 20-25, 25-16, 25-18, 15-10.

Kylee Dunn paced Southeastern's offense, picking up 20 kills. Dunn got some help from Lilly Steele and her 19 assists. Dunn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Despite the loss, Western still got an impressive performance from Aubrey Penwell, who had 17 digs and one assist.

Southeastern's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Western, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

Southeastern has already played their next match (against Westfall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Western, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Northwest on the 2nd.
