Teaneck is 0-8 against Hackensack since November of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on November 23rd. After each having a week off, both teams will dust off their jerseys to take on one another. Teaneck is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
Last Wednesday, Teaneck came up short against River Dell and fell 34-27. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Teaneck in their matchups with River Dell: they've now lost four in a row.
Teaneck's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Adriel Perez, who rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns, and Isaac Combs III who rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. Combs III really tore up the turf during one magnificent 83-yard run.
Meanwhile, Hackensack suffered a tough 29-9 loss at the hands of Elizabeth on Thursday. Hackensack has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losses dropped Teaneck to 7-3 and Hackensack to 5-5.
Teaneck came up short against Hackensack when the teams last played back in November of 2022, falling 15-7. Can Teaneck avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
