The Conifer Lobos scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Alameda on the road to the tune of 71-36. The win was some much needed relief for Conifer as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.
Leading Conifer to victory were Benson White and Issac Pratt. White dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Pratt dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points White has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Dougherty, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Conifer's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11. As for Alameda, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conifer on the road again on Friday and play against Standley Lake at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Standley Lake is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Alameda, they will head out on the road to challenge Green Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Green Mountain presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Alameda in Colorado (Green Mountain is ranked 108th, while Alameda is ranked 324th).
