McLain Science & Tech have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Central at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Two weeks ago, McLain Science & Tech couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-52 to Victory Christian.
Meanwhile, Central had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 8-37 walloping at Memorial's hands.
The losses dropped both teams to 0-1. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contest, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
