The Wilson Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They fell to Rowland 61-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Wilson saw an underclassman step up: Justin Kayode scored 19 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Wong, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Wilson dropped their record down to 12-16 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Rowland, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.
Wilson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rowland also has no future games currently scheduled.
