After both having extra time off, the Hurricane Tigers and the Pine View Panthers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine View took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hurricane, who comes in off a win.
Hurricane took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Snow Canyon 3-0.
Hurricane didn't let Snow Canyon take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24, 29-27.

Hurricane's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Eliza Watts, who had nine digs and one assist, and Haven Williams, who had nine digs. That's the most digs Williams has posted since back in September.
Meanwhile, Pine View suffered their biggest loss since August 26th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Desert Hills. The shutout was out of character for the Panthers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.
While Pine View was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-21.
Hurricane has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season. As for Pine View, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
Everything went Hurricane's way against Pine View in their previous matchup back in August, as Hurricane made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
