The Brackett Tigers will face off against the Granger Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Brackett sitting on seven straight wins and Granger on four.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Brackett walked away with it. They breezed by Pettus on the road to the tune of 66-0. Brackett might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight contests by 25 points or more this season.
Kontagious Cook was on fire: he rushed for 288 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries. Cook's longest rush was for an incredible 93 yards. Another player making a difference was Marques Hernandez, who rushed for six yards and two touchdowns.
Even though Granger has not done well against Burton recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Granger enjoyed a cozy 21-7 victory over Burton.
Brackett's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Granger, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
