A Season-Best Performance from Jaidon Lovett Leads J.H. Rose over D.H. Conley
J.H. Rose came up short on Friday despite Jaidon Lovett delivering his best game to date. Lovett picked up 131 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (24) he has had since back in November of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 55 yards.
D.H. Conley had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Lovett it was a similar story. When Lovett last faced the Vikings back in October of 2023, he rushed for 218 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 215 yards and two touchdowns.

Mccormick Came Up Big in New Bern's 56-12 Win
Terrance Mccormick was a major factor in New Bern's victory over Northside - Jacksonville on Friday. Nobody could stop Mccormick as he threw for 249 yards and five touchdowns on only 17 passes.
This year, Mccormick has thrown 21 touchdowns while averaging 217.1 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 1.88 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 46.88 rushing yards.

Lebron Sharpe Dazzles in Havelock Victory
Lebron Sharpe put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 49 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Jacksonville's probably not too fond of Sharpe given he always seems to get the better of them. When Sharpe last faced the Cardinals back in October of 2023, he rushed for 257 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 15.1 yards per carry.

Karvin Magwood Makes It Two for New Bern
The second New Bern player making an appearance here is Karvin Magwood, and for good reason. He rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Northside - Jacksonville had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Magwood it was a similar story. Magwood rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 31 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Monarchs duked it out back in October of 2023.

D.H. Conley Gets a Boost from Holley in 45-42 Victory
Rounding off our Top Five is Christian Holley of D.H. Conley. Holley picked up 139 receiving yards and a touchdown.
This year, Holley has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 85.4 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 50.86 receiving yards per game.
