On Tuesday, the Red Wing Wingers were out to avenge their 62-54 defeat to the Albert Lea Tigers from their previous meeting last month, but they had no such luck. Red Wing fell to Albert Lea 57-50.
The Wingers' loss pushed them down to 1-25. Albert Lea's victory brought them up to 11-9-1.
The Wingers will take on Winona Friday. Red Wing is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. As for Albert Lea, they will face off against Mayo Friday. If the game is anything like Mayo's 86-71 win from their previous meeting January, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
