Lainey Squires continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Aynor, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Squires has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Paisley Page, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Georgetown bumped their record down to 2-15 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.0 points per game. As for Aynor, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Georgetown will square off against Dillon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dillon presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Georgetown in South Carolina (Dillon is ranked 73rd, while Georgetown is ranked 256th). As for Aynor, they will head out on the road to challenge Loris at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
