The West Logan Christian Academy Warriors gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They really took it to Seneca Trail Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 82-26 win at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-8.
West Logan Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Adams out in front who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of James Scites, who scored 16 points.
West Logan Christian Academy's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0. As for Seneca Trail Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
West Logan Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Teays Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Teays Valley Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six games -- so hopefully West Logan Christian Academy likes a good challenge. Seneca Trail Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Beth Haven Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 19, 2024.
