A feisty cat fight will be fought when  the Kerman Lions  take on   the Sonora Wildcats at 6:00  p.m.  on Saturday... Both teams are coming into the  contest red-hot, with Kerman sitting on  six straight  victories and Sonora on five.
 Kerman is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy  42-28 win over Madera. The score was all tied up  28-28 at the break, but the Lions were the (much) better team in the second half.

 Meanwhile, Sonora sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  23-20  victory over Bradshaw Christian  on Friday.
  Eli Ingalls was the offensive standout of the  matchup as he rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown.  Tanner Navarro made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
 Sonora wouldn't let Bradshaw Christian keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Sonora can thank  Navarro and  Mikey Gentis for forcing both of them.
 Sonora's record now sits at 11-2. As for Kerman, their win was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-2.
 We should be in store for an exciting game  as  the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. Kerman has been on an offensive roll this season,  having  averaged 394.3  total yards per game. However, it's not like Sonora struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 401.6. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.
