Baseball Recap: Woodstock's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak at Home

Woodstock not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16th (when they won 13-2). Everything went their way against the Belvidere Bucs as they made off with a 13-3 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Streaks also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Trevor Wolf was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Landen Stoltz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Woodstock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Woodstock's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15. As for Belvidere, they moved to 6-18 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Woodstock will square off against Genoa-Kingston at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Belvidere, they will host Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bucs are facing the J-Hawks at the right time seeing as the J-Hawks are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
