The Lourdes Catholic Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Ray, falling 72-24. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lourdes Catholic has scored all season.
Joseph Morales was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with four blocks for Ray. Those four blocks set a new season-high mark for him. Chris Curiel was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Lourdes Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Ray, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lourdes Catholic will be home for the holidays to greet San Manuel at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. San Manuel is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Ray will be home for the holidays to greet Duncan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
