The Mesa Jackrabbits scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They strolled past Pasadena with points to spare, taking the game 80-66. The win was familiar territory for Mesa who now have five in a row.
Mesa had a senior duo take command as Conway Cummard scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and six assists and Anthony Seumanu scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. Cummard continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jarren Galarza, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Mesa's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Pasadena, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
Mesa won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Seven Lakes at 5:00 p.m. on December 30th. Seven Lakes is coming into the match hot, having won their last 13 games. As for Pasadena, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Pasadena Memorial at 1:00 p.m.
