Govern Nguyen produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Costa Mesa to the win on Thursday. Nguyen picked up 74 receiving yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 71 yards.
Costa Mesa's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. Nguyen and Costa Mesa will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Loara at 6:30 p.m. on October 31st.

Anaheim Gets a Boost from Guardado in 42-6 Victory
Eduardo Guardado was instrumental in extending Anaheim's winning streak to three on Thursday. Guardado turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 96 yards and three touchdowns.

Andrew Waiss Makes It Two for Costa Mesa
Another Costa Mesa player making an appearance on this list is Andrew Waiss. He threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground.

He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making a tackle.
Loara is on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8. Rodriguez and Loara will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Costa Mesa at 6:30 p.m. on October 31st.
