The Hatley Tigers lost to the Walnut Wildcats back in October of 2014, but The Hatley Tigers didn't allow the Walnut Wildcats the same satisfaction on Friday. Hatley had just enough and edged Walnut out 29-26.
Cayson Williams was his usual excellent self, rushing for 215 yards while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.
Hatley's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Walnut, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Hatley will head out on the road to face off against Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Walnut, they will be playing at home against East Union at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
