Holy Trinity Classical Christian suffered a rough 66-45 defeat at the hands of Cross Schools on Friday. Holy Trinity Classical Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Cross Schools' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rivers Palmer, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Toles, who scored 11 points along with 4 steals.
Holy Trinity Classical Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cross Schools, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Trinity Classical Christian will challenge Holly Hill Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cross Schools, they will head out on the road to face off against Step of Faith Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
