Braggs is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Drumright is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Braggs Wildcats will be home for the holidays to greet the Drumright Tornadoes at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Tuesday, Braggs was fully in charge, breezing past Cave Springs 75-35 at home. Given Braggs' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while Cave Springs is ranked 339th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Drumright humbled Oilton with a 83-45 victory.
Joseph Bray continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 16 rebounds. The match was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathon Chavez, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Braggs' win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Drumright, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.
