There's no place like home for Cabrillo, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Wednesday. They managed  an  18-13 win over the Compton Tarbabes  on Monday. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Jaguars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
  Cinthia Garcia threw for 106 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown.  
 Stephanie Salgado was her top target, picking up 46 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Cabrillo's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Compton, their loss was  their sixth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-9.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cabrillo will square off against Jordan at 4:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. Jordan will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  points each  matchup than the last. As for Compton, they will take on Long Beach Poly at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Long Beach Poly's defense has only allowed 17.6  points per game  this season, so Compton's offense will have their work cut out for them.
