The Lift for Life Academy Hawks are taking a road trip to  challenge the Helias Crusaders  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
On Friday, Lift for Life Academy and Central were almost perfectly matched up, but Lift for Life Academy suffered  a  17-16 defeat. While the Hawks had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Tigers  16-7.
 Meanwhile, Helias put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their  game  with ease, bagging  a  47-7 win over Smith-Cotton. With the Crusaders ahead  40-7 at the half, the  matchup was all but over already.
 Lift for Life Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Helias, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
 Lift for Life Academy came up short against Helias in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024, falling  17-12. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  the Crusaders'  Austin Weaver, who threw for 118 yards and a pair of  touchdowns, and also rushed for 91 yards on only 12 carries.
