Overton won the last time they faced Kingsbury and things went their way on Friday too. The Overton Wolverines breezed by the Kingsbury Falcons to the tune of 54-21. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 26 points or more this season.

Overton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Devion Murray, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 12 points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Gladney, who went 7 for 9 en route to 17 points and six boards.

Overton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

The win snapped Overton's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-6 record. As for Kingsbury, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-13.

Overton will face off against Memphis Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Memphis Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully Overton likes a good challenge. Kingsbury has already played their next game (against White Station), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
