Neither Franklin Classical School nor Dayspring Academy posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.
Last Tuesday, Franklin Classical School was beaten by Franklin Road Christian 54-18. Franklin Classical School was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-11.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-12, which was the final score in Dayspring Academy's tilt against Valor College Prep on January 5th. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dayspring Academy has scored all season.
Franklin Classical School's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Dayspring Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Franklin Classical School was able to grind out a solid victory over Dayspring Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 41-33. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Dayspring Academy's Bella Tetterton, who scored 28 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
