In what's become a running theme this season, the South Callaway Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They blew past New Bloomfield 73-44 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory South Callaway has posted against New Bloomfield since December 13, 2019.
Despite the defeat, New Bloomfield saw an underclassman step up: Wyatt Jordan scored seven points along with two steals. Jordan has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Fuhriman, who scored 11 points.
South Callaway has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for New Bloomfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Callaway will take on Fulton at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Fulton is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for New Bloomfield, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Russellville at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Russellville is ranked 367th, while New Bloomfield is ranked 373rd).
