A Season-Best Effort from Yen Doan Leads Dysart over River Valley

Yen Doan produced her most outstanding game to date while leading Dysart to the win on Thursday. Doan threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of her passes, and also rushed for 193 yards on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: she has now rushed for 140 or more in the last three games she's played.

Dysart moved to 6-7 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak. Doan and Dysart will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Agua Fria at 6:00 p.m.

Brianna Brown Dazzles in Dysart Win

Brianna Brown helped snap Dysart's six-game losing streak. Brown turned in nothing short of a gem on Thursday, picking up 225 receiving yards and a touchdown. She also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

On the year, Brown has caught 13 touchdowns while averaging 116.6 receiving yards per game.

St. John Paul II Catholic Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Elliana Madden

Elliana Madden's big game helped extend St. John Paul II Catholic's winning streak to four on Thursday. Madden did her part (and then some), picking up 81 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.

St. John Paul II Catholic's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-7. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Lions challenges Paradise Honors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Segoviano Came Up Big in St. John Paul II Catholic's 24-6 Victory

Keeping Madden company is Michelle Segoviano, a fellow St. John Paul II Catholic player. She threw for 195 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 50 yards. St. John Paul II Catholic is 5-1 when Segoviano posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 0-6 otherwise.
