The East Rutherford Cavaliers can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Patton, posting a 44-13 victory on the road. Winning may never get old, but East Rutherford sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Leading East Rutherford to victory were Taniyah Cash and Jada Whitesides. Cash scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Whitesides scored 11 points along with six steals and five assists. Whitesides has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Kadence Vanover was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
East Rutherford's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. As for Patton, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing R-S Central the next time they take the court. Patton will head out to face R-S Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while East Rutherford will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
