Charlotte Country Day School is hoping to do what Australian Horizons (Horizon, Australian) couldn't on Wednesday: put an end to Providence Day's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Providence Day breezed by Australian Horizons (Horizon, Australian) to the tune of 49-16.
Providence Day relied on the efforts of Ginny Anne Dumont, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 10 points and three steals, and Julia O?Malley, who posted eight points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelyn Ramsden, who had three points and four steals.
Providence Day smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

Charlotte Country Day School's win came from a few key players Providence Day will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sam Vanderhave, who went 9 of 14 on her way to 22 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. Her afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olive Bigham, who went 8 of 13 on her way to 19 points and four steals.
Charlotte Country Day School pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Providence Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-6 record this season.
