Westside can bid farewell to their 11-match losing streak thanks to their match on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Southwest Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

Westside never let Southwest on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-23.

Westside's win bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Southwest, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Westside will head out on the road to take on Baldwin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
