Alpharetta (Ga.) saw its 9-point lead dwindle to two, but still managed to hang on and defeat
Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, Ga.) 21-19 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a field goal, the Cougars went into halftime with a 12-7 lead. The Raiders took the lead for good with a rushing touchdown in the third quarter.
Alpharetta's most effective player was
Josh Dobbs. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown. He has now scored six touchdowns on the season.
The loss comes after Chattahoochee defeated South Forsyth 28-24 last week. With the win AHS extended its winning streak to three games.
Alpharetta (4-3) goes up against Lambert in a AAAAAA Region 6 game matchup next week, while Chattahoochee (4-3) locks horns with West Forsyth also in a AAAAAA Region 6 game.
