 San Jacinto Valley Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 27-29, 25-20, 25-18,  25-14.
 Despite the  loss, San Jacinto Valley Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Alyvea Mansperger  had 19  digs and one  assist.
 Leading Faith Baptist to victory were  Faith Orquiola and  Keira Correos.  Orquiola  had four  digs and two  aces, while  Correos  had five  aces and four  digs. Orquiola is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's  now  posted 14 or more in each of the last six games she's  played.
San Jacinto Valley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Faith Baptist, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record  this season.
 San Jacinto Valley Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Faith Baptist, they will head out on the road to  square off against  West Valley  on Saturday.
