Penobscot Valley claimed a resounding 66-30 win over Calais at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Penobscot Valley.
Despite the loss, Calais still got an impressive performance from Kate McPhee, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayleigh Scott, who scored six points.
Penobscot Valley pushed their record up to 2-0 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.82 points. As for Calais, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Penobscot Valley will face off against Dexter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Calais, they will head out on the road to face off against Machias at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Machias is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
