On Friday, the Fossil Ridge Sabercats's game was all tied up 19-19 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 45-33 victory over Doherty. This was payback for Fossil Ridge, who suffered a 57-54 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Leading Fossil Ridge to victory were Carmen Arkin and Elli Johnson. Arkin scored 14 points along with five rebounds, while Johnson dropped a double-double on 15 points and 17 rebounds. The game was Arkin's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Natalie Lin, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Fossil Ridge now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Doherty, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
