The Prescott Badgers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Mohave on the road to the tune of 84-42. The victory was familiar territory for Prescott who now have seven in a row.
Leading Prescott to victory were Zane Gaul and Uriah Tenette. Gaul dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds, while Tenette scored 30 points along with eight steals and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gaul has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Costa Contreras, who scored six points along with four steals.
Prescott is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Mohave, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Prescott will be playing in front of their home fans against Coconino at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coconino will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 171st, while Prescott is ranked 29th). As for Mohave, Mohave and Mingus will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Mingus is on a four-game streak of home losses, Mohave a ten-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
