Manvel won the last time they faced Brazoswood and things went their way on Friday too. The Mavericks blew past the Buccaneers 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mavericks.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-9, 25-13.

Manvel's offense was headlined by Kaycee Pennie and Jasmyn Walker, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from London King and her 13 assists. Hayden Urban controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Manvel's record is now 13-6. As for Brazoswood, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-13.
