Carlson waltzed into their game on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Lincoln Railsplitters.

Keith Salisbury tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted over his last three matchups.

At the plate, Carlson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Borowski, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Carlson's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Lincoln, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

Carlson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-6 victory against Melvindale on the 9th. Lincoln has also already played their next matchup (against Inter-City Baptist), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
