Basketball Recap: North Bay Haven Academy Takes a Loss

North Bay Haven Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. The game between them and the South Walton Seahawks didn't end well, with the North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers falling 65-50. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 511th, while the Seahawks are ranked 189th).

North Bay Haven Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for South Walton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Bay Haven Academy and Freeport will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for South Walton, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Arnold at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arnold is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.3 points per game this season.
