Omar Guerrero made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Ruidoso's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-1-1 (and 5-12 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Stratton, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
As for Sandia Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games.
On Sandia Prep's side, Logan Lemons and Ethan Dudley were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Lemons pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Dudley tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had over his last three contests. At bat, Lemons went 3-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Dudley went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Landon Hardcastle was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to hits, as he's now got three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Matteo Herrera was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

The Warriors are facing the Demons at the right time seeing as the Demons are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Sandia Prep, they will challenge East Mountain at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sundevils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Timberwolves have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
