The Lake Fenton Blue Devils were the 45-39 winner over the Arbor Prep Gators when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Lake Fenton fell 53-40 to Arbor Prep on Saturday. Lake Fenton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lake Fenton's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Savannah "sj" fellenbaum, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds, and Parker Beardsley who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. The game was "sj" fellenbaum's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Lake Fenton's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Arbor Prep, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Lake Fenton will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Kalamazoo Central at 5:40 p.m. on Friday. Arbor Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Phillips at 7:20 p.m. on December 27th. Phillips is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
