For Central Kitsap, this counts as revenge for the 33-28 loss River Ridge walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Central Kitsap's win on Friday bumped their record up to 2-5. As for River Ridge, their loss was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Kitsap will square off against Gig Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gig Harbor will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for River Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against North Thurston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (North Thurston is ranked 189th, while River Ridge is ranked 202nd).
