Even though the Iraan Braves scored an imposing 34 points on Friday, the McCamey Badgers still came out on top. In a tight match that could have gone either way, McCamey made off with a 35-34 win over Iraan. The win made it back-to-back wins for McCamey.
Grant Glidewell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 101 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 209 yards and a touchdown while completing 81% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Donovin Young, who rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown.
When it comes to explaining why Iraan lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cole Bowman. Despite the final result, he threw for 93 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes.
McCamey has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Iraan, they have yet to win a contest on the road this season, leaving them with a 4-6 record.
McCamey will challenge Roscoe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Iraan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
