The Paulding County Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by North Cobb 66-38. Paulding County has struggled against North Cobb recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sam Erves, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariyonna Smart, who scored 14 points.
Paulding County now has a losing record at 3-4. As for North Cobb, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Paulding County will be playing at home against Creekside Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Creekside Christian Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for North Cobb, they will square off against Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Harrison is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
