Clayton entered their tilt with Logan on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Longhorns by a score of 12-7. Clayton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Logan only posted an OBP of .429.
Clayton's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Logan, their record now sits at 1-1.
