The C.H. Yoe Yoemen will face off against the Huntsville Hornets at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
On Tuesday, everything went C.H. Yoe's way against Brazos Christian as C.H. Yoe made off with a 16-4 victory. Considering the Yoemen have won four contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

C.H. Yoe got a massive performance out of Jimena Flores, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance gave Flores a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Josie Laureano, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
C.H. Yoe was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .577. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brazos Christian only posted a batting average of .294.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Huntsville). They blew past Rudder 21-9 on Tuesday. The Hornets have beaten the Rangers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rangers has come to flipping the script.
Valerie Martin and Jazira Enriquez did most of the damage at the plate: Martin went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Enriquez went 2-for-5 with six RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple marked the first that Enriquez's hit this season. Sophia Ramirez was another key player, scoring four runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
The win made it two in a row for C.H. Yoe and bumps their season record up to 4-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs over those games. As for Huntsville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
C.H. Yoe's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's match. C.H. Yoe has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Huntsville, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will C.H. Yoe continue to outrun the ball?
