Leading Peoria Christian to victory were Malachi Persinger and Trae Brickner. Persinger dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten assists, while Brickner scored 32 points along with seven steals. The match was Persinger's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lane Hunt, who scored six points along with 16 rebounds and four blocks.
Cuba/Spoon River Valley's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-8. As for Peoria Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
